MAVIG Extended RA641 is a specially designed radiation protection apron that responds to the challenges of the modern environment. Although it provides excellent protection in all positions of work, it has been branded to its peak, in particular: the work to be done;for, offering maximum coverage and comfort.

Protection, in particular, for working

Radiation protection aprons are already standard equipment for different departments, such as urology, anaesthesia, etc. However, the aprons currently in use are designed to stand still for work. But especially in the above-mentioned departments, some measures are taken sitting down. There is a risk that the gonadal glands will be exposed to a much higher dose than when standing. Complete protection against radiation

For this purpose, a special gonadal protection is applied to the inside of the apron. When you sit in front of the patient, face forward, this shield hangs securely in front of the gonads, while the apron is on the knees. At the same time, the new design prevents the apron from sliding between the knees and revealing the legs. The larger sides of the lower part keep the apron in place. When you stand, RA641 also guarantees a perfect radiation shield from the neck to the knees. The sides of the lower part of the apron can easily be fixed together on the back side so that they do not interfere with unrestricted work. Standard equipment includes soft shoulder pads and may be accompanied by post registration.
