Effective radiation protection should take into account the specific characteristics of the lithotomy-based measures. In most cases, the source of radiation is above the operating table. This also increases the high level of exposure of the doctor, especially for their heads, which is generally unprotected. In addition, general radiation protection can rarely be used due to the special position of the patient and its limited space.
